Indianapolis metal act the Contortionist have posted a new song entitled 'Flourish' at Noisecreep.

'Flourish' is a re-written version of 'Eyes: Closed,' which appeared on the band's 2008 EP, Apparition, and is set to appear on their new album, Exoplanet. Exoplanet was produced by Unearth guitarist Ken Omen and is scheduled for an August 31 release.

I dig it.

I prefer the new vocalist, he has more range.Also Liquid Metal is playing another new song from this
album called Expire, as well

did they get rid of all the unnecessary breakdown filler shit? b/c tbh that's what killed that album for me.

both vocalists are good IMO, but it doesn't matter, as long as their music is good which it always is. great new stuff.

The previous vocalist was better in my opinion. Hopefully band will not disappoint with this, one of the few deathcore bands I actually like.

Not sure how I feel about the new vocalist though, I liked how the previous one only used his high range for dramatic effect. Hopefully the album won't completely sound like this or Primal Directive.

@Unskathed123

That's what I had in the original article I posted, then Sputnik edited it and changed the name :S.
