mehhhh

Wow...that was terrible. So far this is a huge step back from their last two albums. Not even a cool solo on this one.
| |
Songs's not bad at all imo. Just by the books Disturbed
| |
Their initial singles are always average (except for their debut album).
| |
Pretty average, not the least bit impressed.
| |
Personally I have a soft spot for these guys.
It sounds a lot like Disturbed's better songs. Meaning it could definitely be worse.
| |
oooooooooooo ah ah ah ah
| |
This was so much better than Another Way To Die though.
| |
lmao my comment got deleted. and all i said was i'd listen to it in a bit
| |
I have no hope for this album
| |
That was disappointing. It just sounds like a b-side from Ten Thousand Fists. At least "Another Way to Die" had an awesome (and different sounding for Disturbed) intro and guitar solo.
| |
Yeah but the lyrics were TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE.
| |
they try so hard.
| |
OOH WAH AH AH AH
DUN NUH NUH NUH NUH
DUN NUH NUH NUH NUH
DOC! OCK!
| |
Why can't this band just die....

Why can't this band just die....
Dave won't let it
| |
generic disturbed, i remember i read somewhere about this song being their masterpiece and the heaviest track ever written by them... meh
| |
The singer still looks like a hypnotist.
| |
Yep, another Disturbed album I'm gonna enjoy
| |
I really wanna like this new album....but that really sucked
| |
wasn't awful... just, not... sigh
it's disturbed.
| |
lol sounds exactly like inside the fire but worse
this will be their worse album
| |
I don't get the comparison. Sounds more like "Run" mixed with "Perfect Insanity" to me.
| |
No it definitely reminds me of "Inside The Fire" too. Just, as opposed to the general opinion here, I actually did like it.
| |
I'll have to play the two next to each other, I guess it's been too long since I heard "Inside the Fire". Also, good to see someone else liking it.
| |
Haters will hate
| |
Truth.
| |
It's good but kind of disapointing for a title track. On a side note, wasn't this song supposed to be like 7 1/2 minutes
long?
| |
Yeah, I was wondering about that, myself.
| |
From Wikipedia:
"Asylum" was previously thought to be a seven and-a-half minute long epic track. Disturbed had considered it to be the first track on the album for its mood and instrumental intro. However, the song "Remnants" made it to that spot in the end.
doesn't explain much but whatev.
| |
I'm betting "Remnants" IS the intro to the song. I'm betting they did that thing some bands do where they kiiiinda chicken out and split the "over-long" intro from the song.
| |
it's so sad how predictable all of their songs are, structurally speaking. i totally regret listening to this.
| |
That was actually wasnt that bad.
| |
As much as I hate to say it, song made me sad.
| |
lol disturbed
| |
this song disturbed me lmfao i am cool
| |
way better than another way to die. that song sounds straight off of 10000 fists which is my least fave disturbed album. this song is good
| |
this song disturbed me lmfao i am cool
Post of the week.
| |
im sry but i can never get past his fucking voice, its sooo funny sounding. like that one when like over half the song he was saying ''ENEMY!!!!''
but this does sound like ''inside the fire'' part 2.
| |
This is pretty awful. The lyrics might as well have been written by an 8th grader. Draiman (Howie Mandel) is trying to be Bono....
| |
Do I even wanna listen to this, or has Disturbed become any less predictable then before?! :D
| |
......Blumper, wrong song. Also, implying Bono is the only one who writes political lyrics or environmental lyrics is idiotic.
| |
Donegan doesn't seem very versatile on the guitar... It just seems like disturbed are a punch of choppy palm muted quick chord changes. Which is sad because I do quite like a few of their songs.
| |
this new song is my...........E-E-E-EENEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!
| |
Disturbed are great, but both songs I've heard off this album are quite average. I hope Willie is right and the rest of the album is better.

there new album will be your E-E-E-E-ENEMY!!!!!!!

I don't see how "Another Way To Die" is so average, honestly. It starts slower and softer, and not in the usual way, but in a way that really does not give any indication of where it's going, then, bam, fast, signature Disturbed stuff, and a nifty solo demonstrating some growth as a player.
Masterpiece? No. But I still think it stands out on the radio. Unless my radio station just sucks. And I have a feeling it does, but, still.
| |
lol disturbed
| |
@CutMan: Yeah, radio in general sucks. Even Sirius was playing Nightmare the other day.
