Fuck you potato, this has the potential to be awesome
|
| |
'Scumfuck' was pretty unremarkable. This band wants to be Greenday so bad... and sound like they kinda want to be Muse a little now, too.
|
| |
They got rid of their lead guitarist after Chuck, and if you ask me there's been a huge decline in the quality of the music from there.
|
| |
scream bloody gore?
|
| |
These guys still exist?
|
| |
NO brown sound no Sum 41
|
| |
I don't think this needs to be stated more, but Underclass Hero was god awful
|
| |
Just listened to Scumfuck, I think it's pretty awesome but not their best. Having said that, Sum 41 never put their best songs out as promo pieces.
|
| |
somebody's trying way too hard to stay relevant.
|
| |
MCR would never make a song called Scumfuck or sound this awesome tho
|
| |
pretty good
|
| |
NO brownsound no Sum 41 [2]
|
| |
[3]
|
| |
[4]
pretty much
|
| |
will listen to this later im sure it is bad though
|
| |
Haha Muse and MCR comments totally make sense listening to this. Not a big fan, however it's still better than any of the Underclass Hero shit.
|
| |
Saw sum41 at warped yesterday, they were actually really, really awesome live.
|
| |
no it wasnt it would obvs suck
|
| |
bum 41 (year olds)
|
| |
They were so fun and good with Hot Chocolate :-((
|
| |
Not a fan of these guys; I thought they were gone.
|
| |
this band blows chunks. When I was 12 they were the first band I ever saw live. That makes me sad.
|
| |
Don't be lame, the band is awesome if you're 12
I was listening to That Thing You Do soundtrack when I was 12 and that's still cool. I'll fight anyone who says it isn't
|
| |
I was into Sum 41 (Well, pop-punk really) when I was 15. The songs were catchy, the bands were silly, just like I was at that time. Then I heard these guys play live...and wow, just awful.
After that I just couldn't bring myself to like a band that can't play their own stuff live at least half-decently, especially when it's the basic rock band set-up.
I just saw Streetlight Manifesto live and they were tight as hell and put on a wicked show.
Anyway, point I'm getting at is I can thank Sum 41 for directing me to listen to bands with at least some integrity.
|
| |
i've been pumped for this album for the better part of a year and i still haven't listened to the new song yet cuz i don't wanna ruin anything before the album comes out (like i did by listening to the first 4 songs of "rfrg" by the offspring before the actual cd came out - although that album sucked huge dick anyway). HOWEVER, from the comments i've read this song's mcr/muse-ish and isn't that good, which is very disappointing, especially considering that the band has stated numerous times throughout the recording process that this album is supposed to be the most agressive and heavy thing they've ever done. i kinda find it hard to believe that they'll make something heavier than "chuck" though, but still i really hope this song isn't a representation of the rest of the album.
|
| |
What the hell is he doing with his voice???
|
| |
scream bloody gore?
^ they wish they was as cool as Chuck was.
|
| |
sum 41 will never be as cool as they were in the chuck days.
that was a fantastic album.
and then underclass hero was just awful.
this song here is a step up
|
| |
fuck the chuck days
all killer no filler is where its at
|
| |
You know who likes Sum 41?
Angsty 13 year olds.
No excuses if you're older ;)
|
| |
^^ because you know people so well
|
| |
Maybe Derek's split with Avril Lavigne prompted some deep thought and inspired songwriting
|
| |
that's what i was hoping would happen but the band'll never be the same without brownsound
|
| |
but the band'll never be the same without brownsound
THIS.
|
| |
I miss brownsound.
|
| |
probably will suck
|
| |
This is shit. Fuck this band.
|
| |
well fuck me, i kind of like this song.
|
| |
ya the song's not terrible but it's not great either
|
| |
Band was never good, relax guys.
|
| |
where's brownsound now?
|
| |
Still sounding brown
|
| |
I thought that sounded awful.
|
| |
where's brownsound now?
with his own band
they're called brown brigade
|
| |
Fuck I used to love this band so much. Still play their older stuff from time to time.
|
| |
All Killer No Filler was the best. Chuck was good. But I haven't really bothered with them since then.
@cleary: totally agree dude.
@someguest: I didn't think anyone actually still used the word posers, but it leads me to believe that you are about 15 years old
|
| |
I like this FAR FAR better than Underclass Hero stuff. That album was so......not so good. I actually am kinda digging the song. It's the best since...well...Chuck. Haha.
|
| |
fuck. this really brought out the new kids.
|
| |
fuck. this really brought out the new kids.
i think they just sit there waiting for news about a shit band they love.
some will even try to reason with a hater of sum 41 by saying something like "well, i can see that this album sucked, but this album was so much better you should listen to it!!!"
...they're lying. they loved that fucking album.
|
| |
this will suck
|
| |
lmao power.
|
| |
A half hour of power
|
| |
What the fuck did I just listen to?
|
| |
Everyone's got their guilty pleasures, mine just happens to be Sum 41. People denouncing the band forever because they released one not-very-good album are just being spiteful. (Pick on a band that deserves it, like Hawthorne Heights or something)
|
| |
damn this sounds worse than underclass hero.
AKNK and DTLI were great but this is just trying too hard.
|
| |
Guilty pleasure..... ;D
|
| |
SilentPotato has a sweet Gummo icon.
|
| |
Suck41is running out of bands to ripoff, greenday, blink 182, metalica now this my chemical romance shit.
This band has always been shit.
"where's brownsound now?" Laughing his ass off.
|
| |
that was a lovely first comment 'ballsinyourass'. keep em coming....
|
| |
Wow, what a way to start a Sputnik career.
|
| |
I think it might be a good album.
I really like this band because they like to have fun.
'Does this Look Infected' is an awesome album and the DVD it comes with is something I always play from time to time, its so hilarious. Also their webshow 'Road to Ruin' always gives me that urge to go on tour and destroy the world. Why can't we all just have fun?!
This band is a huge guilty pleasure for me, especially because the first band I was (in Japan) covered a few of theirs when they were fresh.
"Paaaain for pleasuuuure- Satan is his naaaaaaaame!!!! Look out!"
|
| |
their new album is NOT coming out on 8/31 - it's actually in the process of being mixed and should be out by the end of the year (probably late fall)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUKnHEsRFLc&feature=player_embedded
|
| |
cant wait for the new album. scumfuck is pretty sick
|
| |
