Earlier this year, Greensburg, PA, emo-rock band The Juliana Theory announced via their website that they would reunite for several shows in August 2010 to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the release of their 2000 emo-staple, Emotion Is Dead. The band will play the album in its entirety, along with selected fan favorites.

These shows have been posted via Facebook:

Friday August 20 2010 – New York, NY – Highline Ballroom
Saturday August 21 2010 – Pittsburgh, PA – Mr Small’s Theater
Sunday August 22 2010 – Philadelphia, PA – The Trocadero
Friday August 27 2010 – Pomona, CA – The Glasshouse
Saturday August 28 2010 – Los Angeles, CA – The El Rey Theater
Sunday August 29 2010 – San Francisco, CA – The Independent

The Juliana Theory disbanded in February, 2006, after long struggles with various labels and touring commitments.

Hm. These guys had some pretty awesome songs even if they were boring for the most part.

I really liked Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat. But if you're going to get back together for a reunion at
least try to tour more than 3 states.

Yeah this is pretty cool. I liked Emotion is Dead and Love, even if it tried too hard at times.

all these late 90s early 2000s emo-ish bands must be runnin' outta money cuz they're all reforming now. it's awesome though cuz i like these bands but it's still kinda weird it's all happening now.

I listened to EiD and Love a lot in high school myself. Well, I guess Love was early college, but EiD was definitely high school. Gotta love that the frontman of this band went from Zao to The Juliana Theory haha.
