This is a pretty unique idea. Have updated sounds of 80's hits.
Should be good

this seems better than trying to fill Hutchence's shows altogether
|
| |
So it'll be "Standing On The Outside" (Cold Chisel's greatest hits) but with American and Australian artists and probably without the originals.
Great!

This sounds like a good idea but I've never loved this band.
|
| |
this sounds really interesting. i really like inxs.
|

I think it could go one way or the other. If they play it too safe, it's just gonna be boring. But if they do some reinterpreting, it could work. Of course, it's mostly gonna depend on the vocalists they bring in.

when i saw the headline i was disappointed but after reading the article this could actually be ok....'could'

THEY WILL NEVER TEAR US APART!

wasnt this the band that had that awful rock star reality show to find a new lead singer?
|
| |
Yeah. But did anyone really take that seriously...
|
| |
The story of how Mike Patton turned down their offer to replace Hutchens is full of teh lulz
|
| |
I can't see Rob Thomas doing Never Tear Us Apart. I see him more as a What You Need type of guy.
|
| |
I think Keith Buckley should do a song or two

ahem... The lead singer was gr8. He got into drugs n thrown out shamelessly. INXS is pretty much good for this. Reworking hits. Thats what they should stick to.

this will be awful

I have to say that I was very happy with JD Fortune. I watched the show and knew he was the obvious choice. I saw them live and met them all after the show. I felt they were a good fit. I also really like SWITCH, although I may be the only one.
It's funny, I was just thinking about them the other day and today I saw a commercial for a new TV show with JD Fortune supplying the music. That's how I ended up here. Hopefully, the new album will work.
