yeah, i mean personally i couldnt care less about their background and that they sing about what they know makes sense, but it just defeats me how people can really hate a band based solely off what is, honestly, a really unassuming image thats exaggerated by most. they even wrote songs like oxford comma to make fun of the pretentious pseudo-intellectualism people accuse them of.

I like the band, but I based them off their music...which I find catchy and original. Unlike most people I find no connection between a person's personality and their music/songwriting abilities, for some reason I think music should be about...music...but my kind seem to be the minority.
