I think people should be aware that Pearl Jam is currently winning almost every category, including Artist of the Year over Animal Collective.
I think the Sputnik collective should attempt to change that.

I was going to agree with ruins till i saw the results I swear to god if animal collective doesn't get best new artist, i will castrate every member of sputnik. We shouldn't give a fuck what a magazine says, but we should care when it spreads the word that fucking pearl jam were more important than animal collective this year.

Just for good measure, I threw in my vote for 3's Rabid Animals for best video of the year. One, because they broadcasted it on Sputnik, and two, because I admittedly haven't seen too many videos this year anyways.

Dethklok's new album is actually legitimately good. Axe to Fall was really good too, but I can kind of
see why.
Converge is relatively underground.
I seriously heard a bunch of people in my audience calling Converge "untalented" when I saw them with
Mastodon.
