Pulp Frontman Returns

Sheffield's favourite pervy poet has unrevealed details of his first ever solo album as well as psoting it's first single (the rudely titled 'Cunts Are Still Running The World') on the net. Cocker has being out of the public eye since the release of Pulp's poorly-received 2001 release 'We love Life' but is due to return at the end of the year with a new solo record entitled 'Warrior On The Edge Time'.

No date has been set for both releases yet fans have the chance to listen to 'Cunts Are Still Running The World' online now at Cocker's MySpace site.

When talking about the inspiration behide the track on his MySpace site. Cocker had this to say.
''If all the technical bits & pieces are working properly then you should be able to hear a new song I've been working on. I wanted you to hear it now cos It's exactly 1 year since that Live-8 thing & it was the night of that event that I wrote this song. I apologise for all the swearing but sometimes that's the only thing that seems appropriate.
It's in no way a criticism of Geldof & co. but I remember thinking at the time: "Where does engaging with these politicians/businessmen really get you?" - ( 12 months on & the c**ts still haven't paid up as far as I can make out) - maybe the problem is something more .....''

In other Cocker-related news. Three of Pulp's biggest albums are due to be reissued this August. 1994's 'His N' Hers', 1995's 'Different Class' and 1997's 'This Is Hardcore' are due to all re-released. Each album will come with a bonus disc of B-sides, demos and rareites. Details of each bonus disc will be released shortly.
