Song was boring

It's a fair song, but sub-par by Muse's standards though. I'm underwhelmed.

mildly entertaining

I get the impression that this new album will need to be played from start to finish for a lot of the songs to make sense. That's the optimistic side of me speaking; certain parts are skeptical that it's just going to suck. Song is very unerwhelming for a lead single and pretty sub-par in general.

Bass is sweet, chorus is awesome, love the part about the "fat cats". Much better than USoE all around.

lyrics are generic and uninteresting

they need to inject some awesome heaviness, like their old stuff. its just not edgy anymore

But then you would have people complaining that it sounds like their old stuff and they need to learn how to write new music. Seriously, the last thing you do is write music for your fans because they are always going to moan about something. As a songwriter myself, it's great if the audience enjoys what I'm playing. However, in the end, the audience are spectators and nothing more.

Any time I doubt this album I just remember whenever "Supermassive Black Hole" was the first single for Black Holes And Revelations and I wanted to cry and then the rest of the album was a good bit better.

I agree, its better to satisfy your artistic cravings rather then try and please your audience, but IMO i wish they were heavier

I'm a big muse fan but that was kind of boring. I also agree on that they should have gone a little heavier.

Very dissapointing. The synths and bass were great but the rest of the song seemed a bit bland. It was all too one-paced, uninspired and, dare I say it generic, which is the last thing you'd expect from Muse.

It's not a bad song, it's just that I can't see myself listening to this track over and over again like I can every other muse song... and even though I'm a sucker for claps and HEYS! in a song, I can't help but be a little dissapointed in this tune, it just doesn't go anywhere.

Lol I absolutley love old music, and It just dawned on me a few weeks ago that I never bothered with the beatles, so I rushed out, bought an album and it was amazing!

not what I thought the song would be like from that small preview that was on the radio or whatever...but I still thought it was pretty awesome.
