It won't be very long before many of our reviews become augmented with AI. Some won't use it out of principle and will prioritise autonomy which is absolutely fair. Music sites will probably need tags around AI use on reviews within 5 years. Currently Claude 3.5, GPT 4, etc have their flaws and are limited but as the technology becomes more powerful it will definitely revolutionise music journalism and writing reviews. |

Why is writing a review as a reference point or a summation of your musical opinions (for yourself) not valid? It doesn't harm anyone, it allows you to see how your opinions on the album change over time, other people can read it and comment on it if they choose to.
