To me it feels like they're still finding ways to advance their sound. The choir could have gone horribly wrong in lesser hands, but Kurt and Blake [Mills?] manage to get the harmonies just right. I too appreciate the lack of a filter on Kurt's vox this time around - he sounds excellent for his age - though of course the little electronic touches in the background are still welcome.
