Ween presents Shinola, Vol. 2 2026-10-16 by Cyan isn't a shade of blue. | 1 Comments | New Hope psychedelic goofballs, Ween, are finally releasing a follow-up to 2005's Shinola, Vol. 1 as a special release coming this Black Friday (11/27/2026.) Shinola, Vol. 2 will be a double album of outtakes available on both CD and LP. No mention of whether this compilation will come to streaming has been announced.
This release is in part due to move where Ween sold their catalogue to Rhino/Warner Music Group. It's following other outtake and live releases such as the bonus tracks to the anniversary version of 12 Golden Country Greats and the Boognish Provides Live Boxset. Drummer Claude Coleman was quoted as saying: “It can also be perceived as sort of a mic drop for the band" and “an indicator that they’re closing up shop.”

As "sad" as it is that they're no longer going to make new material (even though they haven't since 2010) It's 3 times as happy they're mixing and mastering old material to sound good in compilation series
