Thought it was fun. Didn't particularly enjoy the repeated lines but the chorus was catchy. The solos were nice too. It's funny seeing her spinning and doing random shit throughout the solos haha.

Interesting - wasn't sure what to expect from Alyssa, but her rendition of Through the Fire & the Flames was surprisingly good (didn't realize her cleans were so good), so I was expecting her to just be taking over as lead (clean) vocalist. Dragonforce with screams and vocal harmonies is probably a fresher direction, though.

Did not expect Alissa to growl in this band at all, thought she was just gonna do cleans. Honestly don't think the growls fit here and would prefer her cleans easily.

Listened all the way through this time. This is just bad imo. Her harsh vocals are awkward sounding and clearly shoehorned in. Dont really listen to arch enemy but i thought she'd be better at harsh vocals considering her fame. The other new singer was overhyped too because he sounds pedestrian as hell really. Generic as expected too of course. These guys have been writing the same chorus for almost 30 years

Yeah I was gonna say I haven't listened to these guys since they broke through with guitar hero and it sounds like I haven't missed much. Glad they're doing well I suppose.

Really? This is basically exactly what i expected them to do. Try to sound "fresh" by adding in some harsh vocals and some melodeath-y parts. Definitely agreed that she should just sing clean though

I always liked her clean vocals more. Think she's pretty average on the growls but solid on the cleans so it's very surprising to hear this. If she's mainly gonna growl in this band I'm gonna be super disappointed.

It'll probably be a mix of both i think. She's a good singer and i think they have 3 people who sing now. They should just lean into vocal harmonies as opposed to awkwardly forcing in growls
