Ramm Exits Graveyard 2026-08-17 by John Marinakis CONTRIBUTOR | 3 Comments | Guitarist and vocalist Jonatan LaRocca Ramm has announced his departure from Graveyard after nearly 20 years with the Swedish blues-rock band.
In a personal statement, Ramm described leaving as one of the most difficult decisions he has ever made. He expressed pride in everything the musicians created together but explained that changing priorities had left him wanting to reconnect with the creativity, freedom and sense of purpose that originally drew him to music.
Ramm will now focus on his family and children while exploring new avenues of creative expression. He emphasised that music will remain a central part of his life and thanked Graveyard’s listeners for supporting him throughout his time with the group.
Graveyard responded that they were saddened by his decision but fully respected it and wished him well. The remaining members—Joakim Nilsson, Truls Mörck and Oskar Bergenheim—confirmed that the band will continue, with a new album and further touring plans already underway.
Ramm joined Graveyard shortly after the recording of their 2007 debut and remained with them through their international breakthrough, temporary dissolution and subsequent reunion. The band have not yet announced his replacement.
