Charley Crockett drops album 2026-04-29 by Alkemest CONTRIBUTOR | 2 Comments | Less than a month after finishing off the Sagebrush Trilogy with the April 3 release of 'Age of the Ram,' Texas' own outlaw country star Charley Crockett released a surprise album today titled 'Clovis.'
Boasting 14 tracks with nearly an hour of material, the album received no fanfare or promotion so this news article will be fairly scant. It marks the fourth album released by Crockett in just over 12 months. Check out the album on Spotify, with more streaming options likely coming soon.

The only announcement is a just-published Insta post where all he says is something like 'You can just release an album whenever you want.' Legend as far as I'm concerned.
Also according to unconfirmed comments on Saving Country Music and Reddit from earlier this month, this was recorded at Norman Petty's old studio in Clovis, NM, the same place where Buddy Holly recorded. Crazy.
