Noodles is a pussy.
Cool solo.
|
| |
"the artwork š"
damn, you weren't joking haha
|
| |
do people actually still listen to this shit band
|
| |
Lol lets make a double album and call one disk heaven and the other hell. Wow.
|
| |
I'm actually mildly hyped haha ngl
I know they'll never top Chuck but if they can still bring the hooks and faux-heavy vibes then I'm here for it
|
| |
Song is ok
|
| |
yeah i don't hate the idea of a double album from a band that's been around for nearly 20 years if they split their old school and mainstream sound between them
|
| |
What are the two genres, pop-punk and crunchy pop-punk?
|
| |
Iām down.
|
| |
Song is decent if a bit boring. I like the heavy-ish bridge/solo section though. Optimistic there's going to be at least a few decent tracks on this, especially on the "hell" side.
|
| |
I dig it. Kinda wild to think Sum 41 and Blink-182 might both release half-decent returns to form so close together.
|
| |
The heavier parts were kind of cool but this feels like a collection of ideas rather than a proper song.
|
| |
Ngl the riff game is surprisingly fun and actually has a wicked groove.
Derek's vocals are p processed but I imagine maybe he's just fried these days. Easy to forget these big pop punk bands are filled with dudes in their 40s and 50s.
|
| |
hell yeah man this album is gonna be wild brother
|
| |
The album art is lacking, but the song was very good. It feels in line with "13 Voices" and "Order in Decline" in terms of classifying it as 'heavy', but the band usually finds consistency when they utilize that type of songwriting. Admittedly, them attempting a pop-punk style just doesn't work as well, though it's understandable why they would as "All Killer No Filler" is probably their best-known record, despite most of their material not sounding like that record.
|
| |
Boring song.
|
| |
damn they kinda go hard though
|
| |
How is it a double album if all the songs are on one CD? Lol
|
| |
this song is a lot better than I expected it to be
|
| |
"I dig it. Kinda wild to think Sum 41 and Blink-182 might both release half-decent returns to form so close together."
And Green Day is making a decent come back to. What a time to be alive!
|
| |
Rastapunk > pop punk
|
| |
now we need The Offspring to make a comeback too
|
| |
fun. Video is also good.

@Flugmorph - SEGA recently announced a new Crazy Taxi. They'd be fools not to get The Offspring to cut a track for that game. Haha
|
| |
uuuuh yeah whatever you say homie
|
| |
alright song
strange decision to make the master recording 64kbps though
|
| |
'In Too Deep' and some other songs will always be bangers to me, but nowadays this just doesn't capture me anymore. Not sure if that's due to songwriting or me just getting old.
|
| |
I thoroughly enjoyed that song, same with Landmines. I never really got into Sum 41 but ngl these new songs are really doing it for me.
|
| |
"they'd be fools not to get The Offspring to cut a track for that game. Haha"
I'm fine with them releasing no more music tbh, fuck that band
|
| |
Offspring could come alive again if they lose BOB Rock's number (won't be this upcoming album...)
|
| |
caharsh vocals and dragonforce ass solo in a pop punk song
|
| |
"now we need The Offspring to make a comeback too"
They actually are. Also check out their youtube podcast channels, lots of cool chats with various people including Rob Trujillo.

I was never huge on the Offspring tbh. Of all the big names of the mid-90s pop punk explosion, they were always the least talented and most derivative, imo. Musically, they're Bad Religion with a metal fetish + whatever is popular and trendy at any given time throughout their careers. I won't knock them for their shrewd business sense, but personally I thought their treatment of Pete Parada was pretty reprehensible, lost all respect for them after that

"Derek's vocals are p processed but I imagine maybe he's just fried these days."
Dude sounded great this summer.
|
| |
Is it just me, or does this sound like something Escape the fate would've put on their last few records? I swear this sounds exactly like something craig would sing
|
| |
---What are the two genres, pop-punk and crunchy pop-punk?---
Yes probably lol, and I'm weirdly okay with that. Heaven is catchy and Hell is crunchy =D
