I know Helmet are not known for lyrics but good lord what is this shit
| |
Uhh, peak Helmet is known for cryptic lyrics but this is cringe..
| |
wtf why did they sample me remembering cringe for the prechorus
| |

Aside from some lyrical choices, a very nice track. Been a while since their riffs felt fierce like that.
| |
boomer rockers not giving a shit about lyrics is a vibe i can subscribe to
| |
I live in Oklahoma that alone is all of that vibe i need
| |
Sick
| |
lol
| |
Yeah lyrics are whatever but it goes suprisingly hard for the most part
| |
I bring up the lyrics because what else is here other the same riffs you’ve heard from Hamilton and co. for decades
| |
If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Wow, the lyrics on this pretty awful.
| |
Page's lyrics have always been wacky. Like he just throws random shit at the canvas hoping something will stick. They seem to be especially bizarre and outlandish here tho lol
| |
Yeah this band have never had good lyrics, we're here for the riffs
| |
and this thing does riff tbh
| |
This is fucking awesome
| |
The guitars have more bite here than they've had in a long while. The drums are better than they've been in a while, too. I'm excited. Page is great at what he does.
| |
All for boomer cheese done well but this is really awful.
| |
still better than the turnstile song tho
| |
song is cool
| |
This song has 0 flow to it. Vocals sound like Hamilton is 30 years older than he is, lyrics are awful, the melodies are horrendous. This is bad
| |
Didn't hate this. Never listened to Helmet for the lyrics to begin with. A bit disjointed, but the individual parts of the song were enjoyable.
