Oh god, what a day. Same here Treb, my dad is almost his age, he became a drummer out of his love for Yes, and damn this is gonna break him. RIP.

Hard RIP, fantastic drummer
"RIP even though he kinda joined Yes right after their golden period"
Relayer is as good as the albums with Bruford
|
| |
Yeah, Relayer is awesome. Definitely one of their best... then again, it looks like Ars gave it a 2.5, lol
|

I remember recently seeing a video on a news piece with him about his collection of drums that were stolen and noticing he looked incredibly frail. I was very surprised that he was getting ready for another tour with Yes, but I guess his health continued to deteriorate. RIP - great drummer who played on a lot of excellent albums.
|
| |
His last several tours, he was only been able to join the band every night for the last 3 songs or so. But supposedly the illness that killed him came on pretty recently.

RIP

RIP, what a legend. I have seen him with YES two times.

Great drummer. Also Relayer and Drama is as good as anything they made in their best period.
|

What a good job he did for both Relayer, Topographic Oceans and Drama among others. Will jam. R.I.P. Alan

Another great drummer of the classic prog era left us. He is responsible for some of the best pages of Yes.
RIP hard.

Replacing Bill Bruford wasn't an easy task, but Alan White proved that he was up to it. Such a shame that such a talented drummer has passed away.
RIP
