Great work with the news uploads and writings, guys. Really appreciate the humour you put into these.

Ashlee Simpson went rock?
|
| |
This progs so hard that it shatters Alan Whites renal calculi.
What a lame comment, but so is this song.
|
| |
does she skram still
|
| |
this is kinda cool but in no way progressive
|
| |
yea it's got skrim
|
| |
this is kinda cool but in no way progressive [2]
Really excited for Poppy's most recent change in direction after the craziness of I Disagree and Eat. Flux, Her and Fear of Dying have all brought such a more accessible pop-punk type route. Fear of Dying cover specifically is phenomenal.

| |
Song's not bad, but you'd think that Sumerian of all labels would be able to correctly identify prog.
Or maybe they meant progressive in a sociopolitical sense and not musical?
|
| |
supposed to be prog and it's only 5 minutes long wtf
|
| |
progressive. iconic. addictive
|
| |
Poppy’s latest batch has been top tier agreed
|
| |
progressive. iconic. addictive. [2]
|
| |
I love Poppy's latest work but idk why this song is being hyped like this. it's mostly just a plodding 4-chord track with a slightly heavier bridge
|
| |
first time hearing Poppy. screamy Katy Perry is alright.
|
| |
"Screamy Katy Perry is alright"
I approve of this name.
|
| |
So this is how guitar-driven music will be revived in the mainstream, eh? Some Metric-In-Scott-Pilgrim-Friend-Of-A-Friend pop rock?
...I can dig it.
|
| |
King Crimson could learn a thing or two from this
|
| |
Everybody's goin prog these days.
|
| |
Say what you will about her earlier work at least it wasn't boring. Imagine making such a colorful video about such a bland gray song.
|
| |
DaBaby has gone prog
|
| |
Nickleback goes prog
|
| |
This song didn't really hit as hard as her other recent stuff, but it's still solid. She's been on such a roll though with her last few releases, I'm super excited to see what else is on this album.
|
| |
flux and flowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
|
| |
prog
p r o g
p r o g

|
| |
Thinking about going prog here soon, seems easy enough
|
| |
up next:
Maroon 5 go prog
|
| |
"Nickleback goes prog"
Didn't they already on that Feed The Machine album?
|
| |
Lol no feed the machine was just regular nickelback with like 3 90s tallica riffs
|
| |
Ah I see. The way people were shocked that it didn't suck I just assumed it was prog. xD
|
| |
Honestly it was pretty decent at least by nickelback standards, I think I gave it a 2? The t/t is def their best single at any rate
|
| |
Reminds me of Republica "Ready To Go" especially with that droney keyboard bit around 3 mins 20 (2 mins 30-ish in Ready to Go)
|
| |
is she even singing in english
|
| |
Old guys who hang out at swap meets and still have pony tails gonna be bumpin poppy now
|
| |
I'll always love Poppy no matter what she puts out. Poppy is my mommy.
|
| |
So going by this song and "Her" it sounds like the new album is going after a 90's alternative rock/grunge feeling, right?
|
| |
Is this the new killing joke
|
| |
Can’t wait for when ppl no longer give a shit about this artist. She is so forgettable
|
| |
love everything about this
|
| |
How in the world or other worlds can this be prog?
|
| |
she should replace LaBrie in Dream Theater but for real though
|
| |
so poppy solo top lane?
|
| |
wait prog is short for progressive??
song sounds very 2002
|
| |
no prog is short for Perilous Rolling Over Ground
smh everyone knows that
|
| |
"no prog is short for Perilous Rolling Over Ground"
They see me proggin' they hatin'
|
| |
How has the comment not been made yet that she should change her moniker to Proggy
I'm disappointed in Sputnik's cheesy punlords
|
| |
Because only an actual dad can get away with that dad joke lol
Damn, and that reminded me of Papa Universe cos he sure loved his puns. RIP...
|
| |
this was meh, I've heard better Poppy songs than this
|
| |
"flux and flowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"
Is that a Lights reference I spy? Better song than this.
|
| |
Probably a Contortionist reference since this is a prog release on the Sumerian label.
|
| |
She's currently one of the best acts in pop.
I will die on this hill.
|
| |
This is so proggers
|
| |
i will fight with you g40st
till death and beyond!

"Probably a Contortionist reference since this is a prog release on the Sumerian label."
1. The Contortionist is not signed to Sumerian
2. The Contortionist lyric is "Ebb and Flow"
|
| |
3. This is not a prog release
1+2+3 = it was a joke
|
| |
Misread as “poppy goes pog”
|
| |
poppy has always been pog
|
| |
this is boring a f
|
| |
Pog Metal
|
| |
this album gonna be lit
|
| |
Nothing too special, but I've no issues with what she's doing here, and the track is enjoyable enough. Definitely not on the same level as EAT, though.
|
| |
poggy
|
| |
"allegedly"
I guess this is the keyword, isn't it?
|
| |
good pop music a new poppy cd and hard metal
