In keeping with late article submissions for this band...

whatever promise the band showed on forever was absolutely destroyed on these new tracks. but good for them for going mainstream, I guess?
| |
honestly, congrats to them for gaining some semblance of a career out of their band. I remember seeing them back in '12 with H20, Terror, and Backtrack, and it was pretty obvious they were going to make a name for themselves. however, this sounds pretty fucking bad and I would be embarrassed if I found myself vibing to this.
also: is the vocalist not the drummer anymore orrr
| |
wow what a hemorrhoid compared to their older shit
| |
Damn, that was baaaaaaaddddd.
| |
This band was simply an overhyped metalcore band and now they're just a bad 90s throwback band that they were never a part of
| |
hahaha oooof thor that's perfect
| |
song is dope, ya'll are dumb
| |
this came out like a month ago lOl
| |
Not the most high octane track of theirs but still a damn good slow burner from one of the most underrated bands on Sput at the moment
| |
fucking horrible band
| |
one of the most underrated bands on Sput
| |
gonna be interesting to see how they handle a 47 minute LP.
hoping for a single more indicative of the album's overall sound soon.
| |
Chode Orange
| |
remember when this band made converge-core? this is almost like a linkin park track except for the metalcore bits.
| |
can’t wait for this band to go away forever
| |
This band should have called it a day after writing My World and My World only
| |
lol omg this is so bad...
| |
Band was never good anyway
| |
Everyone and their mother knew Code Orange would immediately throw out the most mainstream song off the new album after the traction they gained with "Bleeding in the Blur" off Forever. I'm just hoping the band didn't go all-in with WWF-core and there's still some brutal stuff to follow. After this song, I'm growing skeptical.
| |
My problem with this track is that the core hook is average and is repeated throughout the majority of the song's runtime.
| |
sweet mother of sellouts

nail on the head
| |
Heard this one a few days ago, sucks horridly.
| |
not so good!
| |
Thought even Forever was decent, but this is absolutely terrible...
| |
I dig Forever
| |
I'm not even a fan of this band and it's still funny to me how ANGRY y'all get over them
| |
“ Everyone and their mother knew Code Orange would immediately throw out the most mainstream song off the new album after the traction they gained with "Bleeding in the Blur" off Forever”
Bleeding in the Blur is a decent song though, this is fucking terrible.
| |
I really dig Bleeding the Blur
| |
Not good, but not awful. But when compared when where they came from, fuck, this is unbearable.
| |
Does every song they put out have to have a random few seconds of silence in it?
| |
Remember when this band was sick before they dropped kids from their name
| |
those were the days
| |
they got really bad really fast and were somehow rewarded with a tour with Deftones
| |
My World wasn’t terrible imo, I remember people throwing trash at them on that tour. That’s fucking scummy no matter what you think of the music.
| |
they seem like huge dickheads and FYA hardcore is kind of a zoo anyway so i’m sure they were ok with it lol
| |
"Remember when this band was sick before they dropped kids from their name"
^this!!!
| |
Man I didn't even care for Forever or I Am King... But THIS.
What the fuck even is this?
| |
i dunno, from all of the interviews ive watched/read, beyond the posturing the band all seem like huge dorks that happen to take their craft very seriously (for better or worse).
jami seems to have his head a bit up his arse, shade does whatever shade does, but otherwise they all seem pretty down to earth.
that's just my perspective tho
| |
Shit band.
| |
I didn't think it was possible to make an album worse than I Am King, then they made Forever.
I didn't think it was possible to make an album worse than Forever, and now they've made this.
Worst band of all times.
| |
Whatever they are trying here. It doesn't work.
| |
Weird.
| |
C'mon, you guys are just being mean. They're going in a different direction from what they did on Forever or literally anything else they've written besides maybe Bleeding In The Blur, yes, but I really don't think that's a bad thing. If you take it at face value as an industrial/nu-metal/metalcore song, it's really not that bad.
| |
take a turd at piss value see if i care
| |
If they are triggering so much hatred from some of you guys then they must be doing something right. Or at least its better than complete indifference for a metal/hardcore act.
| |
Shit take.
| |
by that logic that means brokencyde were savants
| |
interesting, kinda digging it
