I had to listen to something else to make sure my headphones weren't broken after this. This sounds absolutely horrible and not in a good way, HANL's previous albums are definitely lo-fi but this literally just sounds a busted speaker from 3:12 onward.
whoever edited my article id promise i couldnt fit this in when i tried haha
honestly i dont mind that however im worried about consistency since the title track released before that had such a clean production.
Sounds like absolute shit lmao
Digging: Taylor Swift - Folklore
Yeah, latter half of the song is a bit too noisy.
Loved the first half though.
Digging: The Microphones - Microphones in 2020
Think these guys need a Decimator pedal
Digging: Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Dazzle Ships
I would recommend a Boss NS-2 after any boost/OD and then using Klevgrand Brusfri in post.
Did I hear the same single as u guys damn
i think the wall of noise production in the latter half is fine, the melodies shine through it well enough to give it movement
Song ruled, agreed with sint
Digging: The Fall of Troy - Mukiltearth
how many compressors are in this song?
I can see the complaints, but I like the noisy second half. I think comparing it to their debut is a bit ambitious and sets it up for let down expectations. But overall, solid track. Excited for the album.
this is real good, idk what you guys are complaining about
Digging: FBG Duck - Look At me
Personally, Earthmover is one of their best songs - so I can dig this
what the fuck lmao
Did I hear the same single as u guys damn
Digging: Bright Eyes - Fevers & Mirrors
Lol at the great gear advice from Josh D. and bloc. Maybe a Fortiin Zuul if they're so inclined?
I like it
When did Sputnik become overrun with basic bitches.
This song is sick.
We live in a society where there are people actually hating on Have a Nice Life.
the end is so sick wtf
lo fi band
song is great, not for sensitive-eared pussies.
Digging: Thaetas - Shrines to Absurdity
HANL fans complaining about their songs being noisy is really odd.
Digging: Entombed - Left Hand Path
The first single had me worried that they were toning down their sound and going in more of a post punk direction. Guess not! This owns.
"Maybe a Fortiin Zuul if they're so inclined?"
Too boutique for their broke asses
