I don't have a source, but I have also read this in relation to Neige and Peste Noire.
I strongly think that everyone deserves the benefit of doubt and second chances, and especially if they make it clear that they unequivocally repudiate all aspects of nazi/fascist ideology. If that repudiation never happens though, and especially in the case of an artist who literally wrote a racist album named "Judenfrei," then there is no benefit of doubt warranted, and they are very likely still a far-right piece of shit.
