I’m getting sick of this “new” Slipknot sound man. They need to come up with something new because they are losing me. Not even sure if I’ll buy this album tbh. I miss the days of vol 3 experimentation.

something felt off and then I remember they've got a new drummer now, which is really telling. His aggressive fills were pretty inherent to their heavy parts and this new stuff just does not hit nearly as hard because of that.

They released a group photo of them all in the new masks and theres 9 people in the photo. Can't wait for people to lose their minds over who the hell the new person is.

The bass player's mask is sick, Corey's phantom of the opera concept is cool but why those gigantic cheeks? I dig the clown one too.

Unsainted is a catchy tune for sure. Not as heavy as Iowa, but we'll see if the other tracks from the new album are heavier. Still, the new track is already 1000x better than anything off The Gray Chapter.

album art is cool IMO, album title is edgy, song is cool and experimental. As for the masks, some are really cool (Jay's and Alessandro's being the best), other are exactly the same as before (Jim, Mick), while some other I really don't like, namely Corey's and Sid's

I'm loling hard at Shawn for comparing this thing to Iowa tbh. Those glory days will never come back, but at least it seems they're still putting out decent music, unlike the rest of the former nu-metal bands that survived to this day

I think the two new songs are fairly enjoyable. Better than the majority of the last two albums.
