Dude's got amazing technical talent, but honestly I can't listen to this for more than a minute. Way too many notes flying by.

why do so many shredders have to chug for riffs

Holland sounds absolutely brilliant on this

"I" was fucking amazing, c'mon Breaking Damnation is a jam and a half yo!
Yes, this is not as good unfortunately..hopefully he comes out with more stuff that isn't 110% all the time

Would be better with riffs, still nice wank tho.

Breaking Damnation is a really fun song but I agree that in general his songs are too wanky and he doesn't have nearly enough actual riffs. I can only handle so many chugs and dweedles.
I do appreciate the fact that this project allows Luke to go fucking bonkers.

Holland is the best part about the project easily

Fragments and Retrograde are bangers, but thats prob because the boys from Periphery are featured in them.

we get it dude you can shred

I thought this was really well done personally. I know people are complaining about the chugs but I appreciated how tastefully and unorthodoxly they were used in the piece. Particularly in the second half the chugs were interwoven between the shredding and provided an enjoyable contrast between the simple and technically complex.
