Typhoon/NPR Stream Offerings 2018-01-05 by gilly | 9 Comments | After releasing the first movement of their 4-part album in mid-late October, Typhoon have allowed NPR to stream it in its entirety more than a week early. It features a concept in which the story's main character loses all of his memories (the "Offering") as a part aging or disease and then goes on to explore the fears and struggles associated with losing one's ability to remember. The story also has parallels to a society's collective ability to lose memory in the form of history, says frontman Kyle Morton.
This is the first release from the band since 2013's "White Lighter", although 2014 saw the release of Kyle Morton's debut solo album "What Will Destroy You".
