Good shit. "Grip Shoes" is the better of the two, but both are pretty decent.
Thought their first single was garbage but these give me some hope
Digging: Eli Keszler - Stadium
The first album was a banger but all three singles on this one are a bit tame so far. How you gonna have Derya Nagle, Joaquin Ardiles and Alex Rudinger in the band and not bring the riffz?
Digging: Tangerine Dream - Tangram
eh, these were alright
Digging: Time, The Valuator - How Fleeting, How Fragile
This band sounds like Saosin
I forgot Alex was in this band. Saw him play with them a year and a half ago and thought maybe he was just touring for fun with them. New singles are....OK. They definitely are just turning into a discount bin Saosin. I've just never personally found their music to be compelling.
Good buddy Elliot, my man!
i love this band, great prog rock
Digging: Black Tongue - Nadir
It saddens me that Rudinger is putting is time into this band where he can't fully showcase himself behind the kit.
He seems to be enjoying himself methinks. Still playing some neat drum parts.
"It saddens me that Rudinger is putting is time into this band where he can't fully showcase himself behind the kit."
did you even watch any interviews with this guy? he definitely is enjoying himself in good tiger, be happy he's happy!
Remember when he wasn't happy in HAARP Machine? Those were the days...
i wonder why, al was a complete dick lol
RIP HAARP you beautiful terrible trainwreck with occasional good music.
I guess Alex's happiness is more important than him using his skills in a better band *sigh*
Better band? What's better than jamming with the dudes from The Safety Fire and Good Buddy Elliot?
Elliot's vocals can be very tedious to hear, and the dudes behind the instrument don't seem to be doing much, or really anything from their previous bands.
Nope, nope and duh. The main problem that people seem to have with this band is that it's not a cross between The Safety Fire and TesseracT. It's its own thing. The first album is pretty great.
I liked half of it, these singles aren't really clicking either.
Unfortunately every song on their first album is better than any of the singles so far
Grip Shoes is a banger
Not feeling Bluedrift, Alex can't do it all by himself come on
Yeah, I'm digging Grip Shoes too. The other ones not so much. Still, I'm hoping the remainder of the albums brings the riffs.
Good Buddy Elliot has a love or hate voice. I personally love his vocal style.
