Songs are decent. Album cover is not.

papa roach is a guilty pleasure for me, the singles from the last few albums are usually alright but they cant make an fully cohesive album to save their life. that being said I liked crooked teeth but these 2 songs are literally in the same vein as heavy or whatever linkin park is doing these days.

There's gotta be some point where the album art is so bad you don't even want to listen to the music. That point, for me, is something like the new Metallica. This exceeds that by a lot.

At least Help is a nice song. This sound to mainstream, and rockless. Periscope have nice climate but i dont buy it. Born for greatness bad kid from mix of Kanye West and Imagine Dragons XD! And yeah album art is awful.

Well, I liked these songs a lot more than anything from their previous album. Papa Roach have finally embraced their pop side, and have mastered the ability to craft nice pop songs, which is good despite the same old angry fans waiting for Infest pt. 2. I can't say the same for Linkin Park though.

I thought this band was nu-metal. I guess I haven't cared enough about them after their first couple of albums to know of any change. Were the last album(s) rap?

@LakeeshaJackson : imo while influenced by nu-metal, they were always more of a rock/hard rock band with some rap-vocals mixed int. They ditched the metal part influences in their 3rd albulm already. Didn't check all the songs in their last 2 albums, but to my knowledge this is the first time they go that much in a pop direction. But they always were a "catchy" band, so it isn't really surprising.

The paramour session was imo a great album, and probably their only cohesive effort.
