Project 86 crowdfund new album 2016-07-05 by TheGreatQ | 8 Comments | Project 86 have announced that they will be crowdfunding their upcoming as-yet untitled 10th album. Additionally, as 2016 marks the bands second decade they will be including a 5 song cover EP for anyone who helps fund their next album. The EP, which will feature songs Beastie Boys, Soundgarden, Fugazi, and others, is meant to showcase the bands that were strong influences on Project 86's own music. All songs from the new album will be released early to backers as well.

Guess everyone wants to cover Soundgarden this year.

"Project 86 is an intense foursome hard rock band from Southern California"
"intense"

I have no problem with bands going this route. But, not when things are overpriced a bit. You don't see digital downloads at more than 10$ anymore, or cds at 32.

fuck yeah just another sick band from my childhood
p.s. who cares still gonna download it

THEY SEARCH AND STRAIN AND DRINK AND STAGGER.... PLAY OOOOON

Band has never really made a poor album and this will likely be no different.

Pretty solid, underrated band. Been a guilty pleasure of mine for years. This looks like the final album. 20 years, 10 albums is a nice round stopping point.

Got fully funded today.
