James La Brie releases song more thrash-y than any track on the new Megadeth album. But the chorus...what's with that?

Least talented? I didn't realize he had his take on guitar, bass, drums and keyboard too.

His other solo releases were decent, not that into this though.

Don't be so hard on the guy, he's aging and hasn't been the same since that vocal chord rupture in the 90s.

I thought his singing was really good on the last solo album, much better than in the majority of Dream Theater's work.

Will check this out in a minute

The single is good, but not as catchy as the stuff on the previous solo album.

His choice to do a Soilwork/ proggy metalcore kind of thing is actually kind of brave because if you read all the posts on the metal sites, the DT fans are scared of all the growls and the metalcore fans detest Dream Theater. So he alienates just about every one (except me. I like it).

It's pretty decent. Still don't really care for the harsh vocals though (not the inclusion of harsh vocals, just the guy that does them)

I'm liking the verse; nice dynamic between the harsh and clean vocals.

I liked his nu-metal-y solo stuff more, but I do dig this.

I like this song, but I prefer the growls from the last album.

Not bad at all. Much of the same from last year's offering though.

I agree with Willie. This song didn't seem quite up to Static Impulse, but the album could still be quite solid if the other material holds up to at least this level of quality.
I actually very much like Peter Wildoer's harsh vocals with LaBrie's band. Fantastic drumming from him, too.

The harsh vox were a surprise. Not a bad song tho.

For the least talented member of DT... this isn't half as bad. His vocals still sucks, but the song is
solid imo.
