Never heard of the band before, but I expected something really different from what it actually was. Good song.

A very solid band. The song slays!

Great song from a great band. Album's gonna slay

Not bad until the vocals kicked in, then it was as awful as I expected from the band name.

hope the album will be better than their last one (or two), song is ok

Todd Smith is one of my fave musicians

Todd Smith is fucking brilliant.

Purgatory Dance Party was fucking great. Can't wait to hear more of this

Great song. Great band. Album will slay.

Fuckin' nice. Sounds like something Dog Fashion Disco would've released if they continued as a band.
No complaints here.

I remember an interview on the previous XMLM about Purgatory Dance Party in which Todd said the album has a Beatles/Beach Boys vibe because the band found that angle more interesting than straightforward goofy metal. It seems like they have totally abandoned that idea. :-/

break from the past set the nexus free at last

This seems to me like a mix between Purgatory and Black Mass Hysteria. I do miss the synth heavy elements of purgatory, but it seems they've filled the missing space on SO with more guitar work. Also, I think this is the first guitar solo they have ever done, which makes me hope its not the last.
