DJ Lethal, bring it on!
|
| |
Good, now break up!
|
| |
Eminem, andcas?
Also, another question:
Is it because they're becoming too metal to have a dj?
|
| |
Lol, Leeson of the day for DJ Lethal: If they didn't choose to make a band with the most retarded frontman ever, with an obvious lack of culture visible in the fact that he hasn't ever read a book , actually you will be a decent act instead of a fucking joke and you will be still in that decent act.
Keep rollin lethal,lol
|
| |
Next thing that will happen: Otto will be fired in less than 1 week.
|
| |
Haha this Eminem diss is awesome.
But nah Andcas I either forgot or I never heard about it.
|
| |
If Otto goes, who the hell will take me to the Mathews Bridge?!
|
| |
JOHN OTTO TAKE IT TO THE MATTHEWS BRIDGE!
wait....
|
| |
ah that's why lol. I didn't listen to rap yet at the time I wasn't allowed by my parents.
My dad didn't even approve of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 soundtrack at first cuz it had I think Nas and Anthrax and some other rapping song.
|
| |
eminem diss was great 'keep rollin rollin rollin' hahaha amazing
|
| |
Go on a 3 dolla bill yall tour + some hits for (my personal) nostalgia sake then breakup with whatever grace remains
|
| |
@andcas
Sorry, but im sure about a million people have made that joke before.
I just wanna fit in with my boyz!
|
| |
this is so lol.
|
| |
oh them tyrants
|
| |
Fred Durst getting compared to Napoleon. And if his ego wasn't big enough...
|
| |
Playback?
|
| |
They have a live replacement, DJ Skeletor or some shit.
|
| |
YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH!!!!!
|
| |
Worst news I've heard all year. Limp Bizkit won't be the same now
|
| |
wait....
Holdin the gold it’s so gold it’s so golden y’all
The Golden Cobra
Okay!
|
| |
DJ Skeletor will do just fine.
|
| |
"JOHN OTTO TAKE IT TO THE MATTHEWS BRIDGE!
wait...."
Well, I guess there'll be no more frequenting the Matthews Bridge for Limp Bizkit.
|
| |
inb4andcas getting pissed someone else stole his joke.
|
| |
oh shit, haha, sorry andcas. It was just too tempting
|
| |
"guano's cool. you're cool. we're all cool."
Sounds like LB lyrics.
|
| |
Good, now break up! [2]
|
| |
Never heard this diss before, awesome
|
| |
http://www.thearmpit.net/eng/2012/03/30/dj-lethal-confirms-he-and-john-otto-are-out-of-lb/
Otto and Lethal are both gone it seems
|
| |
NOOOOOO!
I dont mind seeing Lethal go as he didn't add much to the later LB apart from interludes... But Otto brings the groove.
|
| |
I guess they really were just doing it for the nookie...and drug money.
|
| |
Band should just die already
|
| |
took wes' side in the past,
this time, pretty sure fred's in the right... bummer tho, hope they reconcile
|
| |
No problem in using technology to make music, every rap producer or DJ does it. The problem is, they don't do it right
|
| |
"#Napoleon !!"
|
| |
OH NOES
|
| |
they'll rearranged...
|
| |
I heard DJ Lethal is WALKING AWAY.
|
| |
Bad news I guess. He was a lot more of a scratcher on the past albums, which was nice. It seemed like on Cobra he was just making interludes and stuff...
|
| |
No one noes what it's like to be hated, to be fated, BEHIND BLUE EYES.
|
| |
It seems like Fred Durst is the wigger version of Axl Rose.
|
| |
RIP
|
| |
@andcas yeah but that was so long ago... instead of just making that assumption, ill go with what i've observed over the past 5-6 years... durst isn't fucking johnny craig or austin carlile, he's looked out for the band in a big way, and he's done it very publicly. Even though people who hate limp bizkit instinctively hate fred durst the most, he's got a lot of friends across the industry... love him or hate him, he's a shrewd businessman and everything that's been awesome about LB has come from his theatrics.
Don't get me wrong, I love Lethal to death, but kicking someone out over substance abuse issues and then reading "HE'S A FUCKING TYRANT" seems like the same old song to me...
also it's hard to take what you say about this 100% seriously because of your idiotic criticisms of gold cobra and your irrational hatred for all things durst (which you're entitled to, of course... im only bringing em up so you understand how much thought is going into this reply)
|
| |
I think he was probably on some kind of substance when he made TWENTY-FOUR tweets about this one thing, yelling his head off about being a slave in each one. lol.
|
| |
Also, it figures that as soon as they switch to a hip hop label, they loose the most hip hop-like aspect to their music instrumentally speaking.
|
| |
gettin srs
|
| |
I wonder if this has something to do with Fred and Tebow BBF shit. But on the other hand..... no.... no I don't.
|
| |
durst is a cool guy to play xbox with
|
| |
his mom never makes enough pizza bites tho
|
| |
yeah it's cool
|
| |
Glad this article's gone stupid again.
A MOTHERFUKIN' CHAINSAW!
WHAT!?
|
| |
I heard there was pizza bites
|
| |
such old news... doesn't anybody here check out theprp?
|
| |
Sounds like alot of "he said-she said" bullshit
|
| |
Bout to get deadmau5 as duh new DJ. #brightfutureswag
|
| |
dj lethal liked dream theater. that's all. i feel for the guy lol.
|
| |
I actually grew up with limp bizkit when they were on the rise and was the biggest fanboy of their material up to chocolate starfish.
they were my very first concert I ever attended all the way back in 2000 and I practically worshiped the ground they walked on.
so you already disliked the material they played at your very first concert but you practically worshipped the ground they walked on ?? (anger management was them touring chocolate starfish... depending on where you were geographically, it coincided with the album's release)
this is exactly what i mean... just say you got bored of them or you grew up or got into "real" music like escape the fate or whatever... don't try and impart some grand line of reasoning about why GC is inferior because its basically an updated version of their most popular shit
less important:
me (which you're entitled to, of course... )
you I'm still entitled to be disappointed and call him out about the lame behavior he’s exhibited in the past.
me ?? chill out, dude.
I called your criticisms idiotic and your hatred irrational because you never defend them when asked to. And you don't have to, really, unless you have a problem with me calling you out on it (on the internet) (in the comments section of a limp bizkit article)
You could just as easily say: this sounds bad to me, and that'd be fine, but it's really easy to see how full of shit you are when you say things like youre a fan of their old stuff, but
fred durst is like what? pushing 40 something? it's not cute anymore.
or
I highly doubt this album will thrust them back into the limelight.
and then call it a "cash grab"
i mean do you even think before you type what you type or do you just have a stash of pre-written copypasteable bullshit
|
| |
My life will never be the same without him in Limp Bizkit
|
| |
Oh man how are they ever going to recover? God I hope this isn't their downfall.
|
| |
Gee yeah its not like they've ever had any downfall... except being there in the first place.
Why would you even want to stay in the band where your leader is a stupid man-child who's in his 40's and still wears his hats backwards, makes jokes about how incredibly hung he is, and doesn't give a crap even if everybody listens to him only ironically? LB is a joke, and it grew unfunny about ten years ago.
But DJ is a fucking poser too
|
| |
Actually, and while I think you'll agree my interpretation was understandable, I think it may have been a miscommunication between us:
biggest fanboy of their material up to chocolate starfish.
I read this as 'up to (and not including) chocolate starfish.'
so tell me when you've ever made the effort to see them live.
Anger Management Tour, 2000, same as you :D
(not copypasting it but it's the rest of what you wrote)
Firstly, this seemed a much more gratifying and honest response than ugh i love limp bizkit but fred durst is too old... ITS NOT CUTE! or whatever... I am questioning that which was a big part of my childhood only to the extent that you seem to contradict yourself in recent discussions... obviously I wasn't there (although, I WAS at the same show, so you'll understand me reading 'liked everything up to chocolate starfish' and 'worshiped them at anger management' rang a little disingenuous to me.
less important:
me You could just as easily say: this sounds bad to me, and that'd be fine...
you The new stuff sounds like ass to me so get over it.
me once again, that's cool, I'm just wondering why you feel this way (feel free to respond in the Gold Cobra thread instead of here, unless you're too mad at me... then maybe some other time)
|
| |
and also under "less important":
ironically 5 some more shitty albums.
I thought you'd know by now that i've never done this, so you typing it (even if it was done in a rage) disappoints me somewhat... I wouldn't say I was butthurt before but I might be now... i thought you got me, man...
|
| |
ah that second paragraph does the trick... weird i dig walking away but find it one of the more skippable tracks...
|
| |
weird i dig walking away but find it one of the more skippable tracks... Bad academy!
|
| |
Wait, since when is this band still relevant?
|
| |
DJ Skeletor playing with band (SRS)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tG-QUhajW0
|
| |
They always were a fucking joke, even their first cd makes me laugh. But songs like Counterfeit and Take A Look Around were good and I have to give to Durst and Co. the credit.
|
| |
Lethal won't be gettin no nookie anymore
|
| |
their best songs are all mixed, you cant generalize
1. rearranged
2. livin it up
3. trust?
4. sour
5. counterfeit
6. n2gether
7. my way
8. the truth
9. take a look around
10. Nookie or just like this or boiler. or maybe shotgun. hot dog is cool too. infest too. ...
|
| |
Now just break up.....THIS
|
| |
Hot Dog is fucking awful, in this song he shows his low IQ because he had to count with the permission of the person that he was criticizing ( Trent Renzor ) in this song to include the track in Chocolate Starfish and hot dog flavored
|
| |
holy shit nevermind BREAK STUFF is their #1 obviously
|
| |
I used to be really into them back in the day, can't believe Lethal's out.
|
| |
^ this
|
| |
Punk you'd better back up
Try and play the role and the whole crew will act up
|
| |
and now i have that entire verse running through my head.
thanks, dev
|
| |
Goldin' the hold it's so hold it's so holden' y'all. Colden' Gobra.
|
| |

|
| |
Imagine accepting the truth
|
| |
I half expected andcas to submit this news article.
|
| |
Imagine accepting the truth that he really did but BigBlob is holding him down
|
| |
Great, now this guy can make shitty music on his own!
|
| |
This is bullshit DJ Lethal was the only reason to listen to Bizkit
|
| |
lol they played "MY Way" ten minutes ago to open up for game 4 of spurs vs. thunder
|
| |
