Do want.

acad, your avatar is fantastic.
| |
Decapod is representing the internet in the first comment.
| |
Maybe they'll fix the typo on IV
| |
One, that ended on December 20th of last year, even went for $500.
Bet that guy's pissed now
Also, this is vinyl I'm guessing? The article doesn't say so
| |
link has vinyl in it.
| |
"out of print masterpieces"
fucking LOL.
Time to put these bitches on ebay.
| |
minus the attempt (or at least what I think was an attempt) to sound more like Radiohead, I really liked Beggars. Not that I have anything against Radiohead, The Bends is one of my favorite albums and "Subterranean Homesick Alien" is one of my favorite songs. It's just Thrice is Thrice, ya know?
| |
link has vinyl in it.
still isn't clear
| |
Will get Beggars. I already have the Alchemy Index and now wish I had sold it and got hundreds of dollars.
| |
I have everything from them except Alchemy, which just so happens to be my favorite
| |
Awesome. I wan that Alchemy Index!
| |
I bet you guys with the original pressings can still sell them and some stupid shits on ebay will buy them up not knowing about this reprint. Granted, you aren't going to get a lot, but I'm sure it will be more than the repress.
| |

Fucking god, Beggars sounds nothing like Radiohead. Shut the fuck up with that nonsense.
| |
he said "sound more like radiohead"
chill
| |
I'M CHILL
| |
i feel like "out of print masterpieces" is a little much for an unbiased news article.
| |
Especially since Beggars is far from a masterpiece
| |
They re-press the Beggars LP and not Vheissu....
| |
ill buy beggars
| |
They know what we really want on vinyl is Vheissu and The Artist In the Ambulance
| |
They re-press the Beggars LP and not Vheissu....
different labels
| |
"masterpieces."
I'm pretty sure I fell asleep to Beggars the first time I listened to it. The Alchemy Index is pretty solid tho.
| |
Eh, I enjoyed Beggars.
| |
i love thrice and vinyls, but i love 500 bucks more. anyone know if this guy is forreal when he's talkin about the ebay?
| |
this is also shitty, i was broke as shit last year and was considering selling all my vinyls....
| |
Illusion and Artist are probably the closest thing Thrice has come to making a masterpiece. if any albums of theirs are worth repressing its those 2.
| |
you can buy illusion just about anywhere for like 10 bucks
| |
you douchebag
| |
"anyone know if this guy is forreal when he's talkin about the ebay?"
considering Relationship of Command goes for 190-250 dollars on ebay, and considering there's definitely a larger number of die hard Thrice fans than ATDI fans, i'm sure it's true.
| |
there's definitely a larger number of die hard Thrice fans than ATDI fans
oh i doubt this very highly
| |
most thrice fans i've encountered have said "old stuff is great, new stuff sucks" so lol
| |
overheard throughout every thrice set ever...
"T & C!!! T & C!!! PLAY T & C!!!"
seriously the most annoying shit ever and that song isn't even good
| |
On this site, yeah, definitely more ATDI die hards. But overall, I've seen way more huge Thrice fans than ATDI. But hey, not an argument, just a comparison of what I've seen Relationship of Command go for and translating it to Thrice sales.
| |
probably because you've never been to an atdi show lol
| |
Too young to have had the chance, but I get the chance to now. Gonna be mad disappointed if you're wrong.
| |
id have to go with this random, sat... pretty sure there are WAY more thrice fans than ATDI fans
as for the definition of "die hard" that's up for grabs
when a band is defunct, the perceived/alleged "die hard" fans always goes through the roof without any way to validate that shit
meanwhile, thrice sells out mid-sized venue after mid-sized venue for like a half decade after doing pretty well on the warped circuit...
| |
most self-professed diehard ATDI fans were listening to good charlotte in 2000
| |
yeah but i mean the mars volta plays way huger shows than thrice, and the overlap between their fan base and atdi's is going to be pretty massive.
dumb argument but oh well.
| |
all their big shows were festivals... that shit don't count, dawggy
| |
nah i saw them play a solo show at a huge theatre and that shit sold out within a week or so. ended up in like the 30th row. not sure what the capacity was, but i can't picture thrice growing that same size of a crowd (and btw i like thrice and they're one of my favorite live bands)
| |
and dude i like voltron why r we even pretend-arguing
| |
idk let's go call ire a fag
| |
urgh that kid... all he does is sit around fapping to his planetary duality vinyl and synyster gates fat head
| |
YES
| |
holy shit bigtuna sighting!!!
| |
How is this worth so much???
I know all three of those records are sitting in my local record store at $20-$40 each with no one buying.
| |
Beggars is definitely a masterpiece, if any Thrice album is. Alchemy Index had weak points, but still strong overall. Good news.
| |
@dimsim
you should definitely get onto that ~
| |
Theres no Thrice at my record store.
| |
They go around for that much? I found The Alchemy Index Vols. I & II for about 4 euros in a local record store!
| |
Odd, just saw Alchemy Index at HMV a few months ago.
| |
so... that ai repress is FINALLY ACTUALLY HAPPENNING
| |
