Slayer are headlining? I don't think that would be the case in the UK, but obviouslly I wouldn't know so much States-wise

It would be better if they got rid of Megadeth and Testament. Both bands are soooooooo fucking boring live.

I think Anthrax would be a nice edition or maybe some S.O.D.
No Missouri dates....

Slayer on their own dominate both bands with ease. I would love to see a great death metal band open up for Slayer. Now that would be much better.

Holy crap, what a lineup. Although I'm partial to Metallica, this still kicks copious amounts of ass. I'll be there February 13... but no NYC date? Would be more convenient.

Screw Anthrax, and as for Metallica, I'll take the price break instead, thank you! Their absence knocks a hundred dollar off the price probably. IMO, there couldn't be a better three-band thrash line-up. I'll be there at the Cow Palace.

My floor tickets to Metallica/Down/The Sword were only $75.00.

No regular concert should ever cost that much, that price should be for really special events only.

And I can't understand the dilemma with choosing between BTBAM/Townsend and this.

I think I paid $60 for Metallica/Down/The Sword tickets howeverlongago. But after the handing and "convience" fees, it was probably around 75-80. A lot of money, but I figure that I've dropped that at the bar like it was nothing more than once, so fuck it.

Metallica w Down and the Sword at $75 = case in point. This show is an unbelievable $40. Had Metallica and Anthrax been on the tour instead of Testament, this would have easily topped a hundred, and just the for the Big 4 being together in the first place, could've reached upward of $150 for decent seats at an arena. This will be even a smaller venue (in my area, at least)

SICK!!!

Curse.

If it wasn't at fucking UIC Pavillion I would consider going to this... but seriously, unless you're willing to pay the $150 for floor tix, it's worthless to "see" a show there.

Rabble rabble rabble, Slayer is better, rabble rabble rabble, excessive tremolo picking, horribly disorganized riffs, random directionless scale regurgitation, and monotone yelling equate to musical talent, rabble rabble rabble.

Slayer fanboys are almost as bad as Metallica fanboys. The Exotestadeth tour is essentially a Big Four tour thrown through a bullshit filter and augmented with bands that still make good music.
