Supposedly this record will be more focused and the key word ""MATURE"". I don't know how this will affect the M.W I know and love.

what are you talking about?

For MASSIVE AGGRESSIVE we are striving to capture elements from both traditional heavy metal and hardcore punk. When combined, the two genres can become a lethal formula. We're not afraid to bridge the gap on this one."

In fact, the last press release they sent used the word "ferocious" more or less every third word.

According to an old issue of Decibel, M.W was spotlighted and they stated this record was going to be more mature and that they wanted to be taken seriously as a thrash outfit with this whole wave of neo-thrash bands running amok. Frankly, I don't know how it's going to turn out for them. Will they lose their party hard awesomeness to a more safe thrash sound or will they contnue being awesome, that is my predicament.

They've said they wanted to be taken a little more seriously and not as a gimmick, that doesn't mean they're going to start writing twelve minute epics about flowers

artwork definitely has a different vibe than The Art of Partying. of coarse that whole album was pretty silly, fun to sing along to but pretty ridiculous at some points, so hopefully they will mature a little

I'm waiting for them to release something that's more along the lines of Teutonic Thrash.

I have the new album, it's a little cleaner and maybe more refined but it's still the same band.
