Technically Alter Bridge should be here (as the band have confirmed they'd be in it) although according to some reports there is 1 artist left to be revealed. I'd want to say AB are that band, but with rumours of Pink Floyd being included, I have my doubts on that.

Its a game. It was never meant to be a guitar simulation, just a game based around guitar music. And many have actually been inspired to pick up an actual guitar after playing this game and it has promoted a lot of bands amongst the younger generation. This game is not 'killing music'. i like the GH series from GH3 and before because they had more unknown bands which gave them alot of exposure (The Fall of Troy) but now they really dont do that which is a shame.

I knew I was going to be attacked by a bunch of people for what I said. Thank you for letting me know when guitar hero first came out because it's so hard to find out. I just feel that some people actually believe the guitar is as easy as "green, blue, red, blue". I don't need research to see the effect that this game has on people.
I could care less what gets promoted amongst the younger generation because most kids nowadays listen to talentless musicians such as Lil Wayne, "Birdman", and all these other guys who think paying someone for a melody and throwing a different beat over it is considered "writing music".
