Not bad.
I think this albums gonna be at least better than Systematic Chaos.

Video won't work for me. Song is decent though. I just found out that the solo after the keyboard solo is played on an iphone app called bebot.
| |
Jesus, I thought that was awesome.
| |
Song's grown on me, but I still think it's unoriginal by DT's standards. I was hoping for something less heavy and more Yes-esque. Basically, a return to old Dream Theater. Video is good though.
| |
its certainly catchy but im not sure if i like it i dont knoooooow
| |
video kept pausing. will watch in full when someone puts it on YouTube.
| |
just gotta let it load for a bit, if your internet connection isn't super fast.
| |
okay, now i watched it, and i love it. Petrucci is looking more badass day after day! hell, even the song is pretty good.
| |
I just bought the 3-CD special edition of this album because of this song. I think every Dream Theater album should come with a second instrumental disc. Does anyone know what the cover songs are?
Nightwish released an instrumental version of their last album and I listen to that more than the original.
| |
just listened to the song for the first time. It kind of reminds me of Scenes from a Memory...
| |
Pretty cool, I'm looking forward to this album's release.
| |
First time I have heard thesong and tbh i thought it was pretty impressive, video was pretty cool too.
| |
It's just all been done before though. It's a watered down version of In The Name of God. That still makes it a decent song, but its irritating.
| |
Video didnt work too well for me either, but the song is pretty decent. I said it on the other article but A Nightmare to Remember is way better, definitely better than anything off of Systematic Chaos and probably good enough to make it in my top 10 DT material.

| |

| |
I've only heard it for the first time yesterday, and I'm already kind of sick of it. Disappointed. :
| |
Petrucci's solos never fail to amaze me, hes such a beast
| |
Awful song. Plus, lol at James Labrie trying to impersonate a metal vocalist.
| |
i like the bass in the intro..the rest meh
| |
Corny video, Labrie's vocals are lol, decent solos, irritating noise solo thing...meh.
| |
It's alright if you like Dream Theater. I love them, but I'll need to hear the whole album before I'm able to judge it. Concept is important here.
| |
I'm hoping this will be my least favourite song on the album.
| |
meh
| |
That was very good, but I hope they just cut that solo short because its a music video, because it stop very abruptly.
| |
After listening to the whole song, it makes me realize how much more I like the shorter solo section in the video. In the whole song after John's first solo, the rest of it just sounds like an emotionless noisy wankfest. Usually I'm not one of the people that complains about Dream Theater's masturbatory instrumentation, but the solo in the whole song is just generic shredding and noise.
