Vagrant Signs HORSE The Band 2009-02-02 by dukes | 11 Comments | Southern California self-styled "metaphysical DIY badasses" Horse The Band have signed to Vagrant Records. The group will head into the studio in March to record their fourth full-length album for midsummer release.
“Finally we can breathe as humans breathe, walk as humans walk,” says vocalist Nathan Winneke. “Band as horses band,” chimes in drummer Daniel Pouliot. Keyboardist Erik Engstrom comments, “Vagrant Records has been home to so many of our favorite bands. Now (9, 8, and 7 years after I sent them our first, second, and third demos respectively) the label has renewed their holy vows to ‘excellence’ by signing us.”
