Katy Perry almost turned a triple play. I'm suprised she only got a double play out of this but The Last Shadow Puppets, Portishead, and Sigur Ros are nice.

Coldplay winning best song and best album

But not even coming in the Top 10 top artists makes me confused

Best "Death and all his friends" the best song from Viva isn't on there. Odd

So much for Last FM being Edgy and Alternative,

I don't know how this list could happen, song and artist especially. Also:

Coldplay winning best song and best album
But not even coming in the Top 10 top artists makes me confused

This too.

Last.fm people need to hear more music, which ironically enough is what the site is for. I've found a few new good bands in the month I've used the site so it worked.

coldplay isn't in the top artists because it is the top ten artists to debut in 2008

I contributed a bit to NIN and a fair bit to MGMT...aside from that, Coldplay's been consistently running up the charts on Last.fm for a while now...I personally don't understand it at all, but I think it's time to get used to the fact that you're gonna see Coldplay on the last.fm weekly list...

Cemeteries Of London is great, but christ, 6 Coldplay songs, 3 MGMT songs, and I Kissed A Girl, it's not very impressive.

Is it me or do those lists look too British!?!?!? Even the American artists on there are ones that are probably more successful in Britain than their homeland.

I don't understand why every website has to release its 2008 list a month before the year finishes.

Don't complain man. You were one who had to bring a 2008 list over here.
