My Dying Bride: New Album

2008-10-27 by Trey STAFF | 18 Comments
My Dying Bride vocalist, Aaron Stainthorpe, was recently interviewed by Beyond the Dark Horizon. In that interview Aaron discussed the new album including the inclusion of violinist/keyboardist Katie Stone. He confirmed that she will actually be playing violin and not just keyboards on the new album. When pressed to describe their upcoming album he said that, “It is quite possibly the most depressing thing we've created to date” and that it is set to drop around February or March 2009.

4-5 more months? I was under the impression they'd release it this year.

BTDH: What should we My Dying Bride fans be expecting from now to 2009?

Aaron: Well, due to unforeseen circumstances, our newly recorded album will not come out in 2008 but in February/March 2009, so I suppose that's something to look forward to.This Message Edited On 10.27.08

"but i cant say i like their band name"

i laughed at the band name. iv'e said it before and i'll say it again, i wanna make a death metal band full of germans and call it 'My Bleeding Cake Of Death' the guitars will be tuned ultra low and the solos will go for 30 minutes. plus the singer is a huge german dude who screams and hell awakens!

As long as it's better than An Ode To Woe (which it definitely will be), I'll be pretty happy.

Why not go with a short German troll, like Udo from Accept.
