Not going to lie, Soilwork ruled in 06 however, shitty new album and a lack of Peter makes me a sad panda. Cool touring groups though.
| | | they were touring with Darkane when i saw them in 05. they were awesome live but i doubt ill want to see them now and hear their new songs live
| | | Hmmm I don't really want to hear their latest stuff live, maybe if it consists of old stuff, but that's unlikely.
| | | That lineup is sweet-as!
Shame that I don't wanna go see them for the same reasons^^
| | | Why is Swallow The Sun touring with them? That pisses me off, because I wasn't able to see STS with Katatonia and Insomnium, which would have been a million times better than this. Bah humbug.
| | | hey theyre coming right near me and i'm not going because they suck
| | | Of course they wouldn't come anywhere near Birmingham, AL.
| | | I could probably go on February 18th, but I dont really like Soilwork that much. Although Darkane and Swallow the Sun are both good.
| | | Swallow the Sun need to be higher up on the bill next time they tour the states. With the opening slots they keep on picking up they are playing what, 4 songs?
| | | European bands need to stop going to Pops and go to somewhere more safe (where you don't have a 60% chance of getting shot) and not go by two strip clubs. This Message Edited On 09.04.08
| | | What an awkward lineup. I mean, I like Warbringer, Swallow the Sun, and I guess Darkane and Soilwork are alright, but going from thrash to doom...just weird. Wouldn't be surprised if Swallow got booed off though.
| | | Poet, Harpos is literally in the worst part of the country, I have way more of a risk than you do
I'll have to skip this cuz I'd only go for STS but they won't even play 5 songs
| | | ill go for STS and warbringer. and then leave before the shitpile of soilwork begins playing.
total war=most intense liveThis Message Edited On 09.04.08
| | | Excellent, figured there'd have to be at least a couple stops on the tour
| | | I think it's hilarious that Soilwork is one of Will Smith's favorite bands.
| | | ^^Even more hilarious, Will Smith's wife in a metal band.
| | | hah I know....I saw wicked wisdom on Ozzfest '05....I literally couldn't believe my eyes...or ears for that matter.
| | | So we've gone from discussing soilwork's lame latter material to criminally short set times to f**king wicked wisdom!? The less said about them, the better!
I hope it is true about will smith liking soilwork, that's gotta be one of the most genius things i've heard in a good while.
| | | hah yea I think it's one of his "Trivia" facts on IMDB.com
| | | ^Because IMDB is REALLY reliable *coughcough* Seriously, I've talked to several actors who say it comes up with a whole lotta shit.
And I love Soilwork. *shrug* Too bad the only place they've played recently near me was at a Uni Bar and over 18's.
| | | I'd go, but only to see Swallow the Sun.
