its not possible.
and even though 30 Seconds to Mars isnt a band i would ever like, they at least make respectable music and they certainly dont deserve this asshole treatment.

I read it was for $30 million. if that's true, that's ridiculous.
if anyone should be sued for not delivering an album in a 'timely fashion', it's Guns N Roses!
|
| |
If they signed a contract then it is their own faults for not sticking to it. If I were the head of Virgin then i'd do the same since it is a business and the point of contracts are to avoid this sort of shit.
Anyway, anything to help hinder/prevent the production/release of TStM "material" is a win in my book.

With that headline, I can't have been the only one who was thinking outside the square...

these record labels are burning their own fingers by doing shit like this ,,,,,

Virgin need to perish. They f**cked over some very talented people by dropping them just after recording a debut album. I couldn't give a damn about 30STM, but it's behaviour like this that makes me unwilling to support the music industry in ripping off artists over and over again.
|
| |
It's all business man, if a good band releases an unsuccessful album (no matter how good it is) its feasible to drop them.
|
| |
^^but i think their last album had good sales...??
|
| |
^^ supposedly they didn't follow what their contract outlined.
|
| |
anything to prolong an abhorrent band from releasing more music

"Fans waiting on 30 Seconds To Mars' third studio album may be waiting a long time as label Virgin Records have reportedly sued the group for breach of contract."
Sh't. Now what am I going to do?
|

Jared Leto should reprise his role as Angel in Fight Club Two. And get his ass kicked by Mr Pitt instead.

"Money hungry sons of bitches."
I hope you mean the band...and not the record company. You realize the band are the ones making money and not even doing the work they said they would do. If anything...that is money hungry...you know...getting paid for work you said you would do and you aren't doing it...
|
| |
I don't see what the problem is. Don't sign a contract if you can't fulfil your part of the agreement. In this case, it's the band trying to fuck the label over.
|
| |
^exactly.
|
| |
fuck retarded labels to be honest.
|
| |
Now I'm no real 30StM fan but come now, I understand its a breach of a contract and that as a business that is almost as bad as it gets. However, how can you say that its the band screwing the label when you don't even know the whole story? Also do you know what the contract said? And if they were even paid in advance? Anyway there is no way to point the finger of blame, so I think either leave it be, or do a little extra research before blaming one group or another. To assume is to make an ass out of you and me.
