Please, please, please!
|

Yeah. They wont.
|

Well, Bill Steer, their guitarist, said a new album's a possibility, meaning that they may or may not record again. This Message Edited On 08.06.08

I hope they do I just started to really get into these guys
|
| |
well bill was always the one who was against reunions and more albums, so if he's been talked into a reunion, and he's now saying "never say never" to an album, i'd say it's a distinct possibility...
and on that note... FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
|
| |
If this happens im going fucking religious...not really but it would be sweet.

Considering how bad Swansong and how flat Heartwork is, I'd rather they not further ruin their legacy.
|
| |
I'd raher have Sentenced or At the Gates reunited

What the fuck?
|
| |
What? Swansong is really, really bad and Heartwork is pretty flat and uninteresting a lot of the time.
|
| |
Come on Wizard. Did you expect for him to say anything positive?
|
| |
What? It's not my fault Carcass ended on a sourly mediocre note. Do you actually expect them to come back with anything as good as Symphonies or Necrotism?
|
| |
Point proven. One Arch Enemy is already more than I can stand.
|
| |
Benzum, I agree fully since Michael Amott is a waste of talent these days. Coke, I thought Heartwork was the best thing they put out, I just don't see how it sounds flat. There older stuff was alright, I'm not the biggest grind fan though.
|
| |
Flat as in lifeless and mechanical. And Necrotism isn't grind.
|
| |
I can see that for sure, maybe its the fact that it was my first experience with them. I always considered Necrotism to be grind, maybe its their older stuff from the late 80's that I'm thinking about. Weren't these guys pioneers in the grind genre?
|
| |
Reek of Putrefaction and Symphonies of Sickness are both grind, but Necrotism takes the hints of death metal and expands upon it; it's a death metal album through and through.

Thanks for the info. Your advice has always been really credible!
I will be picking up some those albums some time soon. I had them on my computer when I used to download back in the day, but I deleted them! Nu-metal owned my life in high school hahaha.
|
| |
i dont think they will make another album tbh
but who knows...
listening to heartwork as i type this

What's wrong with Amott? Always thought he was a pretty swell guy. Esp. when I met him once.
|
| |
Michael Amott, a waste of talent? I don't understand what you mean by that. Some of the stuff he did on Wages of Sin is amazing.
I mean presently. Wages of Sin is awesome and then they started going downhill.
