M.I.A.'s 'last concert ever' 2008-06-14 by DerMond | 8 Comments | Yesterday at Bonnaroo, the band !!! said that M.I.A.'s set following theirs would be her last.
Sure enough, after she opened her set with a reverb-drenched trance rendition of Bucky Dun Gunn the British-Sri Lankan rapper announced that the gig would indeed be her last show for the forseeable future.
She said "They're kicking me out. Don't worry, though. They can't get rid of me that easy."
Fans enhtusiastically danced onstage with her during a long set of distorted, remixed renditions of her album songs--She intended to go out with a rave-style bang, rather than a whimper.

It's true, i was also there. US wont give her a VISA or something along those lines, according to the bonnaroo handbook they give you when you enter. Fuck censorship, and fuck the US.
By the way, Bonnaroo was great, Minus the Bear (especially) and Broken Social Scene blew my mind.
