Thanks to Cobain, instead of Poison, we have Nickelback.

I don't even know what to say to that.

And Freddie Mercury should have made the top 20 at very least. This Message Edited On 05.05.08

this list is just being silly. I can't wait for the day when they stop trying to slip Bob Dylan into every list.

I'm trying to figure out how Miles Davis qualifies as pop music.

Yeah, since when is Bitches Brew and his crazy 80s stuff considered poppy?

Cobain at #9? that guy might not even deserve to be on this list, let alone the top ten.

Michael Jackson's exclusion on that list is utterly retarded, and Prince should be up there too. And no Brian Wilson? God they're idiots.

Well, not quite sure what the hell Pop is then, considering the choices. However the idea of Top 50 pop geniuses is effectively "The top 50 idiots who got popular"This Message Edited On 05.05.08

Richard Wagner should be number one. Or Fall Out Boy. Seriously though, if you're going to put Miles Davis, I mean, what the hell is pop anyways. If Davis is on there, then why not add Mozart or Bach, or Beethoven, in their day, that was pretty much pop (Plus everyone knows Beethoven's 9th) This list is more ridiculous then rainbows covered in chocolate freezies (mmm). I'm super bored right now.

As far as I'm aware, pop is the equivalent of a very heavyset man with that perfect round belly tucked away in his shirt. You want to know what it is, why its there, but then you realize its simply disgusting.

Pop is disgusting.
