MxPx to record new album

Punkbands.com reports that MxPx are going back to the studio sometime in several months to work with producer Aaron Sprinkle for their follow-up to last year's Panic.

It will be the band's first time working on an album with Sprinkle since he produced 1994's debut album Pokinatcha, the only album to feature former guitarist, Andy Husted, who was replaced by current guitarist Tom Wisniewski.

Released last June, Panic is MxPx's first release on their current label Side One Dummy Records, and contains the radio hit "Heard That Sound". Also to the single, it was the first time the band had successful hits since 2000's The Ever Passing Moment.

The band's follow-up to Panic will be released sometime in 2007.

I've been told that this isn't actually the new full length, they're just recording three songs.

Came from the keyboard of Mike Herrera's Mother.

Cool if its a full album, but probably won't buy it if its a measely 3 songs, as stated by Mr. Clean.
