Wow, that surprised me. Much, much better than that shit that was on "The Gathering".

Oh, and Paul Bostaph ftw

The Gathering was good SOH. Not as many solos as I had hoped, but it was still tight. This already sounds up to par with some of their older stuff.

Edit: Just finished the whole song and I enjoyed it alot. This is alot better than Death Angels attempt this year at riviving their career. Now we are only anticipating Anthrax's album. Weird how all these older thrash bands are coming around again. This Message Edited On 03.08.08

Not even my totally heterosexual love for Dave Lombardo could make me say that "The Gathering" is a good album! This Message Edited On 03.08.08

well fuck me sideways!!! let's see metallica try to out-metal this!!!

chuck's voice is sounding better than ever, and the production on this is way better than any of their older work (and considering this is only a stream, the finished article can only be even better!), without being overproduced.

the gathering isn't bad at all, it's just a bit inconsistant compared to their older stuff. it's better than demonic anyway.

Demonic was super weak!
Metallica doesn't count as a revival thrash band on my above list. Their new album is going to suck. Don't fall for the hype!

Awesome! Testament played a rare gig in Jersey last summer, people drove up from as far down as Georgia to see them. They still got a lot of fire.

I'm not the biggest thrash fan, but the song was painfully average even for thrash.
