According to the Pulse of Radio, Motley Crue's new album The Dirt has been pencilled in for a July 8 release.

Bassist Nikki Sixx confirmed in a recent journal posting that the group were in the studio working on new songs along with longtime Sixx collaborators James Michael and DJ Ashba (of Sixx:A.M.)

Its challenging and exciting to have to write the songs into time capsules spread out over years...ive written a lot of songs with Mick Mars of course along with James Michael, Marti Frederickson and DJ Ashba...The Chemtrsy in the studio as were writing is unbelievable...I look forward to leaking some to you all in the next few months...

Oh... I hope it's good... Is it the original line-up or is Tommy back out?

You may want to fix the news title if the release is in July.
Ive never cared much for Motley Crue, but The Dirt is pretty cool.

This band seems to be breaking up and reuniting every month

I really like this band but I have very little faith that they can write good material againThis Message Edited On 02.21.08
