Stones Reschedule Summer Tour

Keith Richards, guitarist for the Rolling Stones, had apparently made a complete recovery from a myseterious accident he suffered from while in Fiji. The band stated today (6/2/06) that they begin their belated European tour in Milan on the 11th of July. The tour was originally scheduled to begin last Saturday in Barcelona, but had to be postponed due to the extent of Richards' injuries.

"Excuse me, I fell off of my perch! Sorry to disrupt everyone's plans but now -- It's full steam ahead!," the guitarist stated.

Richards reportedly suffered from a head injury, when he fell out of a palm tree, while vacationing in Fiji with bandmate Ronnie Wood. Representatives of the Stones have not commented on the extent of Richards' injuries, leading to speculation as to their severity.

The new scheduling of the tour has it set to run through September 3rd, where it will conclude in Denmark. Two concerts (in the he German cities of Nuremberg and Leipzig) have been cancelled outright.

"We are delighted to announce the Stones tour is back on track and thank all the fans and ticket holders for their patience," said the band's promoter, Michael Cohl.

Thanks Billboard news.

Nice that the old geezer is back. But I want some evidence of the accident. Witnesses? Anything? Old fart was probably in rehab.

Jon Bon Jovi said that there's no way he'd ever keep performing at that age. He might have a good idea but I think it's dumb that he called the Stones a "disappointment."

Shame Bon Jovi has been sucking from the success of one album for twenty years.

Yay for this not effecting me in any way! But I'm happy to hear my Keef is alright.

Jon Bon Jovi shouldn't of performed at any age. And he's not exactly young himself. His band sucks, always has, and they can't even come near what the Stones have done. Or are even doing now. He need's to stfu.
