French black metallers Peste Noire have unveiled a music video for La pègre, the first track from their most recent album Livre III - On s'en fout, released towards the end of 2025. It sees Famine leaning in further to the hip-hop and rap influences and aesthetics which the band have experimented with on previous releases, and coincides with the second release date for physical copies of the album via the band's own label, La mesnie Herlequin.

"It sees Famine leaning in further to the hip-hop and rap influences"

they did what now? lmao

for all their unsavoury views, they made some proper good music way back when and the thought of this direction amuses me

Fwiw, the full album is actually much more black metal focused than they have sounded in a long time, so La pegre is not really representative. It's kind of a hype track intro lol

The fourth track was uploaded in full this morning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCVwV5N6ybU

And here is the music video (truncated version) they released for that one around this time last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyVw7igIILI

Much like tractor rap, it's bad hip hop made by dudes who are afraid of black people.

Weird choice for the music video, considering it’s the only song on the album that sounds like this, and is easily the worst of the bunch

I decided to watch his lame fake interviews and the dude is insufferable. Has all these grandiose half-baked ideas that are like 'farmers are great, the wave of the future, racist but also self-sufficient' without apparently understanding that farming is one of the most heavily subsidized industries lol

The Nazi band "leaning in further to the hip-hop and rap influences" is ironic.

Hip-hop is plenty multiracial and multicultural, but still. It's still a commonly-cited boogeyman among racists.
