Ellie Goulding Knows Too Much 2026-06-03 by bluejasmine | 9 Comments | Three years after the release of her "least personal album yet" Higher Than Heaven, Ellie Goulding has announced her sixth studio album, I Know Too Much, set for release on September 4.
Described by the singer as a "very personal album", the record was inspired by major life changes, including her divorce, mental health struggles, and the birth of her second child. The project was created in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer Jack Rochon (Beyoncé, Daniel Caesar), who worked on the entire album.
About the album, the electropop singer-songwriter said: "Making this album allowed me to bring everything together honestly, like journalling through music, a collection of songs that represent a certain time in my life. I have always loved exploring different sounds and tempo. The album came about from the idea that maybe we can know too much, freedom comes from the ease of not knowing…. - Ellie x"
The album's lead single, "Black Prada Dress", will be released on June 5. Pre-order/save here:

This article's title is so funny without any context.
| | | She takes the title of the worst live artist I've ever experienced.
| | | It's a shame she peaked with Halcyon and it was basically all downhill from there.
| | | I gotta listen to her first two albums again. I remember them being great when they came out but I'm pretty sure they've aged poorly at this point.
| | | They probably have.
| | | They aged well! Mostly Halcyon (in my opinion)
| | | I highly recommend checking out some of her standalone tracks, such as "Somebody", "In My Dreams", and "Destiny."
And as for the first half of Brightest Blue, I think it's every bit as great as Halcyon. Tracks like "Flux", "Bleach", "Brightest Blue", "Ode to Myself", "Start", and "Love I'm Given" are excellent and show that she still has it.
| | | Holy shit you literally 5'd her entire main discography.
| | | "This article's title is so funny without any context." (2)
yep, I was about to make a joke akin to 'how do you think she got catapulted to fame' or some such etc. because it certainly isn't purely on 'talent' lol (but yes, the album's title kinda ruined the joke)
